BICES 2021 User Symposium Successfully Held in Beijing

In the afternoon of April 19, 2021, User Symposium of the 16th China Beijing International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition and Seminar ("BICES 2021") was successfully held in China Construction Machinery Association ("CCMA") in Beijing. More than 40 people attended the event, including CCMA leaders, representatives of users, associations, media in Beijing and representatives of CCMA’s branches.
CCMA President Su Zimeng made a keynote speech on "China Construction Machinery Industry Operation and Development Outlook in the First Quarter of 2021"
Su Zimeng first expressed gratitude on behalf of CCMA and BICES organizers to the participants for their support for CCMA and Beijing BICES event over the years, and then made a speech on the theme of "China Construction Machinery Industry Operation and Development Outlook in the First Quarter of 2021". According to the CCMA’ statistics, the sales volume of 12 major products of construction machinery from January to March this year was 478,000 units, an increase of 86.5% over the same period in 2020 and 82.5 % over the same period in 2019. The export of major construction machinery products achieved significant growth, the industry 12 major products exported 92,848 units, an increase of 62.4% over the same period in 2020, an increase of 73.9 % over the same period in 2019. He expects that China construction machinery will maintain more than 10% growth in 2021, and the export situation is expected to see an obvious resumption of growth. The development strategies, target tasks, and key projects proposed in the outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the Vision 2035 will continue to enhance the demand and sales of construction machinery, especially for the various infrastructure development and construction, regional development plan, urban and rural construction and livelihood projects, etc., which is the key driving force for China's construction machinery market to maintain sustained growth in the future.
Su Zimeng finally said that BICES 2021 exhibition will be held in a grand manner, giving full play to the unique industry advantages, regional advantages, brand advantages, exhibition venue advantages and organizer advantages of BICES. BICES will become to be one of the biggest industrial event with highest quality and the most popular in the world, to provide this year of the top level of international platform for the users and the exhibitors of communication and cooperation.
Wu Pei Guo first thanked the users of support for China construction machinery industry, and then made a keynote speech on "BICES 2021 Preparatory Work Introduction". He pointed out that based on the recognition of the five advantages and the exhibition effect of BICES, as well as the good expectations of the epidemic prevention and control, BICES 2021 has been sought after by industry enterprises and enthusiastic participation, key enterprises are all exhibitors, the number of exhibitors and the area of exhibitors are significantly more than the same period last time, especially the number of exhibitors and the area of exhibitors have been greatly exceeded. According to statistics, the area of registered exhibitors until now has reached more than 80% of the previous exhibition. The thirteen special theme exhibition areas have also basically taken shape at present, among the “Science and Technology Innovation Achievements Exhibition Area” is one of the most important area on the basis of " 70th Development Achievement Exhibition Area", which focusing on the new products, new technology development achievements of the industry since "18th National Congress". Wu Peiguo said BICES is currently planning how to better provide value-added services for small and medium-sized exhibitors, to help them with special technology, products, and achievements through the platform of BICES 2021.
In addition, Wu Pei Guo also introduced the concurrent conferences and activities that have been implemented during BICES 2021 show time, including Non-road Mobile Construction Machinery Four-stage Emission Standards interpretation Seminar, Global Construction Machinery Industry Conference & Construction Machinery Industry Chain Summit, China Construction Technology Innovation Conference & China Construction Innovation Forum, World Construction Machinery Intelligence Conference, The 3rd “The Belt and Road ”International Cooperation Forum on Construction Machinery, The 3rd China-Africa Construction Machinery Cooperation Development Forum, Global Tower Crane Summit and China Top 100 Tower Crane Leasing Companies and etc.
Wu Pei Guo finally explained the additional leasing technology and equipment exhibition area and related supporting activities. He pointed out that a separate leasing area will be added separately after the existing thirteen exhibition areas. The plan to display an area of 10,000 square meter to strengthen communication and cooperation between domestic and foreign construction machinery leasing industry about the latest technology and achievements.
