June 9, 2018 was a special day for LiuGong Dressta Machinery. All the roads in Poland led to Stalowa Wola. In a well-organized full day event in collaboration with the Operators Association of Poland, the one and only construction equipment factory that designs and produces machines in Poland opened its doors to over 200 distinguished operators from all around the country. The day was kicked off with group tours of the new Parts Distribution Centre, which holds 30,000-line items of inventory in a 3,500 m2 warehouse. It was a great opportunity for the visitors to see this advanced facility which has a same-day delivery policy to dealers and customers within Poland thanks to its advanced logistic management systems and high parts availability. Parts Distribution Centre tours were later followed by the official opening speeches. Initial speech was given by the Chairman of LDM, Howard Dale, who underscored the company`s investment in R&D, Production, Parts Distribution and People. The closing addressing was made by the President of Stalowa Wola City, Mr. Lucjusz Nadbere?ny, who has further talked about the importance of company`s investment for the region and mentioned that the event is a brave form of promotion that will have tangible benefits.

 
Throughout the day, the backbone and real workforce of the construction equipment industry; the operators, had the chance to see how the factory builds machines right here in Poland for the entire world by participating in factory tours. Thanks to the in-house testing ground, which allows typical and most common operating conditions, attendees also had the chance to operate a range of LiuGong excavators and wheel loaders which are made in Poland, tested in Poland and supported from Poland with a standard 3 years - 5,000 hours warranty program alongside a range of Dressta crawler dozers. The 68-ton dozer, Dressta TD40, was one of the main attraction points for the operators together with the 936E crawler excavator (36 tons operating weight) and 856H (18 tons operating weight, 3.3 m3 bucket capacity) wheel loader.

 
In addition to the 6 different machine trial zones, there were also 2 separate machine operation competitions which was exciting for the guests. Over 100 operators have challenged themselves with a Liugong excavator and a wheel Loader in separate zones for the big prize: an all-inclusive trip to Bauma`19; world`s biggest construction equipment show in Germany. 

 
The day was rounded off with a ceremony to announce the winners of the competitions which was followed by a final dynamic machine show orchestrated by the expert operators of Operators Association of Poland. All the participants were thrilled to watch the LiuGong & Dressta product show, which was also coupled with 3 highly-skilled motor cross riders. The day had high attendance from the sectorial media, local authorities and regional press as the event was the first of its kind in the Polish Construction Equipment industry. The sole aim of the event was to create an unforgettable experience for the operators of Poland and get exhaustive knowledge and feedback on LiuGong & Dressta products, listen to their comments on the equipment produced here to support future product development to meet the exacting requirements and expectations of the industry experts.
