BICES 2023 Pre-show Press Conference & Exhibitor Preparation Meeting Held Successfully in Beijing on June 13th, 2023. Mr. Su Zimeng, Chairman of China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA),  Mr.Qi Jun, Honorary President and Special Advisor of CCMA, Mr. Wu Peiguo, Secretary General of CCMA and Chairman of Beijing Asiamachine International Convention & Exhibition Ltd. (BAICE), Mr. Li Jianyou, Vice Chairman of CCMA and Chairman of Carbon Emissions Peak and Carbon Neutrality Working Committee (hereinafter referred to as” Carbon P&N Committee) and Engineering Crane Branch, Mr. Li Jin, General Manager of China Construction Machinery Co., Ltd (CNCMC), Mr. Wang Shoubo, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Machinery Sub-Council(CCPIT-MSC), and representatives from exhibitors, visitor organizers, service suppliers, well-known media nearly 150 people attended the meeting.

Mr. Su Zimeng, CCMA Chairman delivered a keynote speech on the “Operation Trend of the Construction Machinery Industry and BICES 2023 Outlook”

Mr. Su pointed out that the 100-day countdown of BICES marks the basic readiness of all preparatory work. At present, most of leading global construction machinery enterprises and key members of CCMA have signed up to participate in the exhibition. The number of exhibitors and show area are expected to reach historic highs, showcasing tens of thousands of equipment and products that will cover the entire industry chain of the industry. More than a hundred events will be exciting, and it is expected that the exhibition will attract hundreds of thousands of buyers and visitors to visit, communicate and cooperate. BICES will not only promote the high-quality development of the construction machinery industry, but also contribute to the sustainable development of industrial exhibitions in China.

Regarding the current operation situation of the construction machinery industry, Mr. Su stated that the industry continuously achieved new results in high-quality development during the 14th Five Year Plan. From January to May of this year, the domestic market performance in general has not reached the expectation, and we need to attach great importance to the new problems that arise in the industry's development. Mr. Su also  expressed that part of the construction machinery products in the domestic market will still face some pressure in the near future. However, in the long run, the construction machinery industry as a whole will take a stable and good trend with the effectiveness of policies and the steady improvement of the market environment and the pressure will gradually be released in the later stage.

Mr. Wu Peiguo, Secretary General of CCMA and Chairman of BAICE delivered a keynote speech on the “BICES 2023 Exhibition Preparation”

Mr. Wu gave a key introduction to the organization and preparation of the exhibition from six aspects, including the organization and registration of exhibitors, the arrangement of themed exhibition areas and booth allocation, organization of concurrent conferences and events,  invitation for users and professional visitors, publicity and reporting plan and on-site operation and service work. According to Mr. Wu, the number of confirmed exhibitors has exceeded 1000, with an estimated total exhibition area of over 150000 square meters; Fifteen planned themed exhibition areas have taken shape, nearly a hundred high-quality simultaneous conferences and activities have been basicallyplanned, and invitation for domestic and foreign users and visitors is currently underway. At that time, about 200 domestic and foreign professional media will conduct comprehensive and three-dimensional on-site coverage and promotion. There will be seven major improvements in on-site operations and services for exhibitors and visitors.

Mr. Wu also stated that BICES will provide thoughtful and warm services to exhibitors and visitors with the five unique advantages. He sincerely invites and warmly welcomes friends from both domestic and foreign countries to Beijing, China to participate in and visit BICES 2023, share the development achievements of the global construction machinery industry, promote deep integration of the global supply chain and industry chain, and promote high-quality development of the global construction machinery industry.

Mr. Li Jianyou, Vice Chairman of CCMA and Chairman of Carbon P&N Committee and Engineering Crane Branch delivered a keynote speech on the “Comprehensive Construction of BICES 2023 High-end Green Display Platform to Help Promote the High-quality Development of the Construction Machinery Industry”

Mr. Li stated that under the guidance and lead of the national carbon emissions peak and carbon neutrality strategy, the construction machinery industry is actively practicing the path of green and low-carbon development. The Carbon P&N Committee specially sets up carbon emissions peak and carbon neutrality show area showcasing the enterprise's green and low-carbon technology and equipment. Meanwhile, during the BICES 2023 exhibition, the organizing committee and the Carbon P&N Committee will conduct selection and commendations, and organize a series of activities to promote green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of the construction machinery industry.

On the basis of reviewing and summarizing the development history of BICES, Mr. Qi pointed out the irreplaceable and important significance of BICES.
